Central heating system connection - Pipes from Floor

Type of use: Central heating connection
Position of pipes: The pipes come out from floor
Parts Required: A pair of straight valves

Installation guide: To connect the towel radiator to the central heating system, you need a pair of straight (in-line) valves (thermostatic or standard). The head unit of the valve (if it is a thermostatic valve) is connected to the left or right inlet pipe, depending on from which direction the hot water flows in. Valves must be connected to bottom inlet points of the towel radiator.

When you have connected the towel radiator to the valves and sealed off the top inlet points with blanking plug and air valve, you are then able to turn on the inflow valve to fill the towel radiator.

Please bleed the towel radiator at even intervals to ensure that there are no air gaps inside the pipes and it reaches its maximum capacity.

Type of use: Central heating connection
Position of pipes: The pipes come out from the wall
Parts Required: A pair of angled valves (thermostatic valves or standard)

Installation guide: To connect the towel radiator to the central heating system, you need a pair of angled valves (thermostatic valves or standard). The head unit of valve (if it is a thermostatic valve) is connected to the left or right inlet pipe, depending on from which direction the hot water flows in. Valves must be connected to bottom inlet points of the towel radiator.

When you have connected the towel radiator to the valves and sealed off the top inlet points with blanking plug and air valve, you are then able to turn on the inflow valve to fill the towel radiator.

Installation guide:
This type of heating system must be installed by a qualified and certified electrician! No water pipes are required for the heating element to be installed to the towel radiator. It is highly recommended that you contact your electrician for more information before purchasing a heating element in order to receive advice on where you can install this type of electric appliance use within your house. The electric heating element must be inserted into the towel radiator vertically through one of the entry points at the bottom (right or left).The second entry point on the bottom is then sealed off with a blanking plug. You will then need to fill up the radiator with water or water/glycol (90/10) in order to stop the water from freezing (if necessary) using the third inlet/entry point on the top of the radiator.Please leave a 2-3cm gap from the top of the towel radiator when filling it up in order to give some room for the expanding hot water. Fasten the blanking plug and air valve to the other top inlet point. Your heating element can then be connected to your power supply.

Dual fuel use (Electric & Central Heating system) with 1x T-pipe- Pipes from Floor

Type of use: Central heating water system & Electric
Position of pipes: Pipes come from the floor
Parts Required: 1x Angled valve, 1x Straight valve (thermostatic or standard), 1x Heating element and 1x T-pipe

Installation guide: This type of use must be installed by a qualified & certified electrician! It is highly recommended that you contact your electrician for more information before purchasing a heating element and getting advice where you can install this type of electric use within your house.

The heating element must never be turned on without first filling the towel radiator with water as it can cause the element to burn out. When towel radiator is heated by using central water heating system, the heating element must be turned off! Heating element and the central heating system can never be run at the same time.
